Inland Northwest Christian Homeschoolers (INCH) is a Christian co-op and support
group, serving homeschoolers in Coeur d'Alene and surrounding areas. INCH is not
a drop-off program or a school, but a co-op run solely by volunteer moms
and dads. We offer homeschool students, from preschool through high school, an
assortment of academic and enrichment classes and social activities to supplement
their homeschooling experience, as well as classes and workshops to encourage and
support homeschooling moms.
Field trips, service projects, events, and parties will also be scheduled
throughout the year. All of our classes are taught by volunteer moms and
dads, and we rely on God's guidance for all of our activities.
All paid members receive our weekly e-mail newsletter, as well as gain access to
our online database.
INCH offers two levels of membership: limited and full. Limited members
pay only $20 for a whole year, which enables them to sign up for various field trips,
as well as attend INCH extra-curricular functions. You participate as much or as little
as you like!

Full membership costs about $26 per session and
enables families to participate in our co-op classes. The school year consists of three
8-week sessions, spanning from September to early June. Over that time, co-op meets
Mondays at Grace Bible Church, from 10:00am to 1:45pm. We take about two months off for
Thanksgiving and Christmas, as well as two or three weeks off in the spring.
Classes are taught by volunteer parents, which means that we rely on our members to
prayerfully offer to teach at least two classes per school year. Class topics are
generally up to the individual, and INCH also has a wide variety of ready-to-use
curricula. This is not a chore, but rather an opportunity to share our God-given talents
with the next generation.
Because of the great level of interaction with children and our strong Biblical
worldview, the INCH Board prayerfully reviews each application and reserves the right
to refuse membership to anyone.
First and foremost, all applicants must profess Jesus Christ as their Lord and
Savior. They must read the INCH Statement of Faith and promise to uphold it in its
entirety, during INCH functions. We acknowledge and understand that we will never agree on
everything, but INCH members must strive to present a consistent worldview to the
students, in order to avoid confusion and conflict. Members should also study the Member
Handbook, as it contains responsibilities and rules of conduct for parents and
students. Failure to abide by Jesus' commandments to "love thy neighbor", the Statement
of Faith, or the Handbook, may result in disciplinary action or expulsion from INCH.
